Juan Felipe Villanueva Contreras

Juan Felipe Villanueva Contreras, violinist and violist from Ibagué, Colombia, is a Music Performance major at Rowan University under the guidance of Dr. Timothy Schwarz. He has appeared as soloist with the Rowan University Symphony Orchestra, performing concertos by Bruch and Tchaikovsky. In 2025 his chamber ensemble received the Donald Spieth Memorial Award. Juan is also an active teacher and performer, dedicated to sharing his passion for music.
